COVID-19 Essential Training

Over 100 specialist training courses.

We have been awarded a grant by Skills for Care

The impact of COVID-19 has created an extremely challenging time for the social care workforce. Skills for Care have identified training that remains a priority during this period to ensure there is a skilled and competent workforce.

Therefore, we have been awarded a grant to enable us to offer fully funded training to all Adult Health & Social Care services around the UK. The only condition, due to COVID-19, it must be done as Virtual Learning. This means all learners will be in open groups and classrooms with other learners, all from their own home or workplace. All you need is a computer with a webcam and microphone and a stable internet connection.

What are the requirements?

You must be a care provider who is responsible for the direct support of other individuals. All of your learners must be employed, or volunteering, new members of staff or staff who need an update.

Please note: Due to the COVID-19 situation, we must remind all services to ensure that all applicants have fully undergone the recruitment process applicable to your sector. This includes all referencing and DBS Checks.

At present, you can claim:

Small Employers (1-50 staff) – 10 Funded Learners

Medium Employers (51-249 staff) – 20 Funded Learners

Large Employers (250 +  staff) – 30 Funded Learners

We will monitor this and feedback additional requests to Skills for Care - although further funding is not guaranteed.

We draw down the funding directly from Skills for Care.
